BOWLS: HDA bowling club member Jim Gibbons won three competitions at the club's Finals Day on September 12.
Gibbons, who is also the club treasurer, took a mammoth seven and a half hours to claim his three prizes in the four wood singles competition, the two wood singles and the two wood pairs event with Mary Salter.
In other matches Rick Sippitts and Phil Hims took the four wood pairs title from Barry Hay and Christine Summers and Dave Ellsmore and Mary Salter scooped the four wood nominated pairs trophy.
Monica Moore claimed the ladies title.
