EVESHAM United put their unbeaten away record on the line at St Blazey on Saturday intent on making FA Cup progress, writes Mervyn Collins.

The Robins have won three and drawn one of their four Southern League Division One West outings but Dave Busst is expecting a tough game in Cornwall where he will be looking to his players to again improve their efforts in front of goal.

"It was obviously better last Saturday because we scored four times but we missed a lot more," the Common Road chief recalled.

"However, it chances become scarce then we've got to ensure that we take them because that could be the difference between staying in the FA Cup or missing out on progress and a financial boost."

Busst will choose from a full-strength outfield squad and admitted that he will be plumping for experience especially in attack.

That should mean a recall for Lee Ross, leaving last weekend's trio of scorers Jermaine Clarke, Danny Williams and newcomer Ravi Sangha competing for the second attacking spot.

Marc Burrow and Stuart Hamilton could also be available, but Tim Clarke is still a doubt and Dave Adey is expected to deputise again.

"They're going to be a very strong team and we've got to ensure that we are up for it," the United manager admitted.

"We won't be treating them lightly because they've taken some good scalps over the years and are always in the title picture in their own league. We want to make sure that we don't lose because they certainly won't be relishing the prospect of a midweek replay."

Should Saturday's tie end in a draw, the replay will be at Common Road on Tuesday (7.45pm).

There's an early start for players, officials and spectators with the coach leaving High Street at 7.30am and not 8 as previously directed.
