PUPILS at a Worcester school can admire their artwork while enjoying their lunch thanks to a permanent mural on display in the dining hall.

Year 5 pupils from Cranham Primary School in Tetbury Drive, spent the first week of their summer holidays back in their school working with local artist Jon Williams.

They sculpted clay models of mediaeval soldiers and created a detailed mosaic featuring a crane - the school's symbol - which was hung in the dining hall on Friday.

Lottery cash was used to fund the Impact art project, which involved the Warndon school and 36 others from across the West Midlands.
