HISTORY enthusiasts can have a go at churning butter, make traditional medicines and see coins being stamped this weekend.
The activity day at Greyfriars, in Worcester's Friar Street, will allow children to join re-enactors to learn about food and diet in the 15th Century.
There will be hands-on braiding sessions and the chance to see a coin being stamped.
Children will discover how medicine was made using natural ingredients and help to pound the herbs with a pestle and mortar to add to the mixture.
There will be traditional fishing implements and paints on display and children can make a pomander using oranges, ribbon and cloves and discover how they were used in Tudor times to cover bad smells.
The activity day runs from 1pm to 4.30pm on Saturday, September 18. Admission will be £3.20 for adults and £1.60 for children.
