WORCESTER carers are being urged to take part in a survey designed to find out what they need.
The aim of the survey - being organised by Worcestershire County Council - is to get information direct from carers about what they need to help them in their caring role.
This information will then be used to help create a plan about how social services support carers living in Worcestershire and improve support currently available.
Vital
"Carers provide a vital service and we want to make sure we're providing the right support for them," said Angie Cantrell, carers unit customer service advisor.
"Their health and well-being is just as important as the person they're caring for.
"It's important that as many carers as possible complete the survey to give us the information we need to help them in their caring role."
The survey - which must be handed in by next Wednesday - is available online by visiting: www.worcestershiregov.uk/carers or by calling the carers unit on 0800 389 2896.
