STAFF at Lloyds TSB in St John's, Worcester will be joining the county cricket club to host a charity fun day tomorrow.

The event, to be held at the local branch, will include an appearance by former Worcestershire captain, Ben Smith. It will help raise money for the NSPCC.

Lloyds TSB staff will be donning their "whites" and entering into the spirit of things by holding a prize raffle - for a cricket bat signed by the whole Worcestershire team, and organising children's competitions and prizes throughout the day.

Ben Smith will be at the branch to chat to supporters between 9 and 10am, before joining his team mates as they prepare for Saturday's C&G Trophy Final at Lourdes.

"We've got fun things for the children and hope the adults will have a good time too - and it's all for a good cause!" said Debbie Fitzpatrick, manager at St John's branch.

"Raffle tickets to win the signed cricket bat are already on sale at the branch so we are inviting people to pop in and say hello throughout the week - anyone could be a winner."
