REVISED plans for the redevelopment of the Diglis Basin are to be assessed by Worcester City councillors next week.
Last month, councillors ruled out a scheme for 459 apartments, saying the figure was too high and the proposals would not do anything to make the area a landmark feature.
Other concerns included the amount of space available for boaters and the height of five-storey buildings overlooking the basin.
Changes to the plans include a reduction in the building heights to four and three storeys, resulting in a loss of 37 homes.
Boaters will benefit from permanent, secure and covered accommodation and extra facilities, including laundrette, shower block and toilets, which have been added to the plans along with a coffee shop.
Planners at the authority have welcomed the plans and have recommended that they are approved when councillors meet on Thursday afternoon.
