UPTON Rowing Club hopes to get as many people rowing as possible to raise money for the Sport Relief charity.
The club will bring a number of rowing machines into the Bridge House yard tomorrow (Saturday) and members will offer tuition in using the machines before letting participants try 'rowing' for a mile.
For £2, participants will be awarded a certificate for completing the challenge and the club also hopes some will be sponsored by friends and family.
The event starts at 10am and runs until 3pm, when world indoor rowing champion Anna Bailey will visit and give a demonstration.
