A STORY penned by a Malvern author has been included in an anthology.
Rowena Macdonald, of St Anne's Road, is included in You Too Can Have This Beautiful Life, a collection of new writing from students at Warwick University.
She describes her story as "witty and thought-provoking". It comes from a collection of work based in Montreal, where Rowena spent a year working.
"I was only just scraping by, and facing different problems was very inspiring," she said.
Writing became her ambition five-years ago, after winning a short story competition. She enjoyed her prize, a writing holiday, so much that she quit a training course with the Sussex Express newspaper to write creatively.
She has won three national competitions and been published in three books. The new anthology is £5, available from Rowena on 01684 891771.
