THE RSPCA is looking for people in the Worcester area to become home visitor volunteers.
Home visitors help find suitable new homes for animals in the charity's care.
Volunteers, who are reimbursed for out-of pocket expenses, go on a half-day course and undergo field training to prepare them for the work.
"If we can recruit more, this will speed up the home visiting, thus enable animals to be in their new homes sooner," said Alison Plant, branch development advisor for the RSPCA.
"As a result, our kennels and boarding facilities will have room to take in additional animals that need our help."
Anyone interested in becoming a home visitor can contact Alison Plant on 01299 861804.
