HARRIERS have agreed a two-year shirt sponsorship deal with town firm Hire It who have a lengthy connection with the club.

Hire It director John Davies, a fan for many years, has made plenty of efforts to promote the club at his Worcester Road company which hires out tools.

A substantial five-figure fee has meant they replace OGL following their seven-year stint as Harriers sponsors.

Davies admitted: "I always looked at the shirts and dreamed about seeing our logo on it. For one reason or another I never really got the chance to take that idea further.

"However, when the club approached me last year with the proposal of becoming the club's new sponsor I couldn't really turn the opportunity down.

"If anyone out there is looking to get more involved with the club, I'd ask them to get in contact with me and I'll help introduce them to the club."

The new Harriers home and away kit is set to be revealed next week.
