FLADBURY Parish Angling Club has written to Lord Coe, chairman of the London 2012 Olympic bid.
The club is, supporting the action taken by Fladbury Paddle Club in withdrawing support for the London 2012 bid following Lord Coe's sore bad losers comment.
Andrew Langstone, leader of the angling club, told Lord Coe in a letter: "We know of no parents who would wish their children to be taught that to be a bad loser is good. If members of the club followed your lead then parents would not allow their children to take part.
"We are very glad the Paddle Club has made this stand. They have our full support."
He told Lord Coe: "We will not now support the bid, unless there is some very clear indication from you that you have changed your view."
