A MAN who broke a window after falling out with his girlfriend has been given a custodial sentence after appearing before court on 26 different occasions.

Jason Telford smashed the back window of his girlfriend's mother's house, Worcester Magistrates Court heard.

Helen Harmeston, prosecuting, said on Thursday, May 13, Telford, aged 33, used threatening language against his girlfriend.

The prosecutor told the court that Telford's girlfriend closed the door, then Telford smashed a window.

Andrew Childs, defending, said on the day of the offence Telford's partner was living with her mother due to problems in their relationship.

Telford, of Maple Avenue, Tolladine, Worcester, admitted criminal damage, a bail act offence, and a breach of a combination order.

Deputy District Judge Derek French said Telford had appeared before the court 26 separate times.

Yesterday, Telford was ordered to spend one month in custody for the criminal damage offence, one month to run consecutively for the bail act offence, and one month to run consecutively for the order offence.
