A BIDFORD woman has organised a lunch on the banks of the River Avon this weekend to raise money for a proposed renal unit in Stratford.
Cheryl Sussens is holding the lunch on Sunday in the former home of Michael Ball and has invited his father, Tony, to speak at the event.
She is hoping the beautiful wildlife on the river and the talk by Mr Ball will draw up to 200 people to the event.
Doors open at 12.30pm for lunch at 1pm and there will also be a raffle with a top prize of £500 to spend on jewellery.
Tickets priced £25 are selling fast but there are still some available from Cheryl Sussens on 01789 778015.
