A TOP jazz musician and BBC Radio 2 presenter is set to bring fame to West Midland Safari Park's outdoor music festival next week.

Courtney Pine will join Kidderminster band, Cantaloop and American group Ozamatli on the opening evening of Friday, July 9, which will comprise a lively mix of jazz and Latin American rhythms.

Visitors to the charity event, on Saturday, July 10, can see Wyre Forest Symphony Orchestra playing popular music from the musicals and The Proms, as well as a fireworks finale.

The proceeds from the weekend spectacular will be donated to the Childline West Midlands in Tune with Childine campaign.
