A BAND which hopes to rock the music scene with a CD they are recording with Kidderminster College's Mighty Atom Smasher Records are looking for a new member.

Kidderminster band, Kill Train, are currently recording material for a six-track promotional CD, to be released in September, but are looking for a bassist to aid their quest for musical success.

The outfit consists of drummer, Paul King, singers, Ben Mol and Scott Morley, and guitarist, Pete Yates.

Pete said: "We intend to push rock forward with Scott and Ben's distinctive and untrained vocals. I am creating lots of interesting clanging drones and, with Paul King's pounding up-tempo rhythms, the only missing link is the bass player."

Scott added of the new CD: "It is a collection of songs we have been working on at MAS Records. We want to join the dots between Black Sabbath's monolithic sludge rock and sonic hardcore of Arch Enemy."

Ben went on: "Most of the tracks are performed live in the studio and carry the passion of the live performances. Kill Train performed recently at the MAS Records showcase, Sonic Boom, at Redwoods Wine Bar in Kidderminster and are building up a strong local following." Any bass player interested in joining Kill Train should contact MAS Records on 512120.
