STUDENTS from the UKCBA Kick Boxing Club in Pershore were in action in their first competitive bouts at Bristol.
Nick Stevens won his contest to give the club its first national title after a hard-fought tussle.
Fellow Full Contact members Gavin Keay and Terry Ludlow suffered mixed fortunes with the former winning by a knockout but his clubmate lost a split decision.
Instructor Stuart Marler became a second Dan Black Belt to cap a god month for the Priest Lane club.
