THE RAIN caused havoc with the cricket programme in the Ludlow/Tenbury area on Saturday. As well as Ludlow, Tenbury, Knighton and Bromfield all failed to take to the field as the rain lashed down.
Ironically Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle and Corvedale all completed games without interruption.
The fixtures for this weekend are: Ludlow v Broseley, Broseley 2nd v Ludlow 2nd, Himbleton v Tenbury, Tenbury 2nd v Himbleton 2nd, Brintons v Knighton-on-Teme, Willey v Bromfield, Bromfield 2nd v Grove.
Ludlow's bowling attack will receive a much-needed boost as two familiar faces return to their line-up. Spinner Peter Coote returns from injury and Peter Milner from university
