TENBURY United are underway with their build-up to next season. They have already started training at Palmer's Meadow on Tuesday evenings commencing at 7pm.

The club's management is aiming for a gradual build up to a season that will see them needing to raise their standards for the second season running.

Following their successful leap from the Kidderminster Premier League to the top half of the Southern section of the West Midlands League during last term, they now need to do it again when they start life in the newly formed Division 1 of the same league. This will involve the top half of the Northern section as well.

Anyone interested in joining them at training with a view to playing next season should contact either Colin Powell or Karl Pearson on 01584-819739 (daytime).

The club has already arranged a couple of attractive friendly fixtures at Palmer's Meadow against West Midland League Premier Division opposition. On Thursday, July 22 Causeway will provide the opposition, to be followed a week later by Wellington. They are also in contact with Ludlow and Kington plus a couple of local sides.
