A STALKER who breached a restraining order to pursue a Lady Chatterley-style relationship with a titled aristocrat had his case delayed again last Wednesday because of a court blunder.

Stephen Adamson, aged 43, of Bridgemans Close, Broadway, was due to be sentenced by Cheltenham magistrates for breaking the order which banned him from contacting Lady Rosalthe Rundall, the 7th Earl of Harrowby's daughter.

But the court was told that its letter ordering a psychiatric report on Adamson had been sent to the wrong health authority - Gloucestershire, rather than Hereford and Worcester.

Adamson was bailed until Tuesday, July 6 on the condition he stays at his home address and makes no contact with Lady Rundall or any members of her family.

He has admitted breaching the two-year restraining order, which was imposed last year.

The court heard he had pestered Lady Rundall for two years after she turned him down for a cleaning job at her home in Aston Sub Edge.
