ON visiting Worcester one lovely sunny day in June, along with two friends, we decided to sit by the river.
We were absolutely appalled at the amount of rubbish along the once lovely riverside walk.
I am no stranger to Worcester. It was my parents' home city. I have been visiting Worcester for more than 70 years, but have no desire to walk along the river again.
What tourists must think, I cannot imagine.
