David and Margaret Mills hosted a coffee morning, where money was raised with a "bring and buy" and a plant stall.
Pat Bourne reported on a walk at Monk Wood, Hallow, attended by around 40 members from local groups.
The June 7 speaker was Michael Sargent, on "The Life and Times of Mrs Beaton", comparing life in Victorian times to how we live today.
The competition for a favourite tea towel was won by Mary Walker, with Stella Smith second and Joan Struebig third.
The next meeting, at Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green, is on Monday, starting at 7.30pm.
The speaker will be Barbara Charnock, her talk entitled "Poetry? With Pleasure".
The competition is for a limerick about WI.
