THE Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham has launched its autumn season brochure to help give audiences a warm glow when the summer sun fades.

Big stars who will be appearing later this year include ex-Eastenders Craig Fairbrass, Frazer Hines, Lenny Henry, Rob Brydon as Keith Barret and Jerome Flynn will impersonate comic genius Tommy Cooper in Jus' Like That!

Brian Blessed will also star in The Haunted Hotel, a gripping and disturbing tale by Wilkie Collins, and Penelope Keith will play Madame Arcati, one of theatre's great comic roles, in Blithe Spirit.

New shows include Moscow By Night, performed by 42 talented Russian singers, dancers and instrumentalists, as well as favourites like Puppetry of the Penis, Round The Horne...Revisited, and Al Murray, Pub Landlord.

Later in the year there will be performances of Fame, The Musical and an appearance by the Reduced Shakespeare Company before the Christmas pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.

There will also be the chance to boogie the night away with Kid Creole in Oh! What A Night, sing along for three nights in a row to Rocky Horror, Abba then Elvis, wave flags during Last Night of the Proms and take a taste of the classical with the English Touring Opera.

The theatre is also launching comedy night with The Comedy Network, keeping it smooth with Late Night Jazz and making lunch taste even lovelier with Literary Lunches.

There are productions like Anorak of Fire, the story of a trainspotter, the profoundly moving 'Night Mother and a performance based on the theme of Love, written by 30 local writers.
