SIXTH Formers at Prince Henry's school were banging the drum for free speech, as they took part in a day of language and culture.
Workshops took place all day as students experienced different aspects of other cultures, including Tai Chi, sushi, Japanese art and sign language. They also had a brief introduction to Portugese, Russian, Italian, Japanese and Danish.
Sarah Marsh, Director of languages said: "The aim of these sessions was to develop skills across the curriculum allowing them to learn new languages and experience different cultures in a creative way."
Today, Thursday, Prince Henry's is hosting the Worcestershire festival of languages, which will be attended by teachers and pupils from 15 county high schools.
