VALE police fear a serial flasher is targeting women in the Evesham area after a man exposed himself in two separate incidents.
The suspect first struck just after midnight on Tuesday near the roundabout on Davies Road. Jessica Fortey, aged 20 from Evesham was walking her friend home when the man, dressed only in a Parker-style jacket, stepped out from behind a parked car and exposed himself. An hour later the suspect struck again on the same stretch of road.
Jessica, a care worker said: "We did not stop to look - we just glanced and headed on. I work in a home and deal with men all day but I was disgusted about the incident and my friend was more shocked by it. I hope the man is caught so it does not happen to anyone else and he also might need some help."
The man is described as in his forties, of medium height and stocky build and thinning dark blonde hair. On both occasions he wore a Parker-style jacket. Evesham beat manager PC Tom Iddon admitted the police were keen to track down the flasher.
PC Iddon said: "These sorts of incidents cause distress and the girls who witnessed this incident were only young - they could be my daughters. Perhaps this man should seek help or come forward to the police."
Anyone with further information about the incident should contact PC Mike Boswell on 08457 444888.
