THE identity of a man whose badly decomposed body was found in Worcestershire woodland has been revealed.
Joseph James Thain, 59, from Hayes in Middlesex, was discovered in Hawford Wood, off the A449, near Ombersley, last Monday.
A police spokesman said the delay in naming him was due to difficulties in locating and informing his next of kin.
An inquest will be opened and adjourned in Stourport today.
