A BROMSGROVE beauty salon held an open evening to raise funds for cancer research and gave guests some top tips on slimming.
More than 30 women turned up to Body and Soul beauty salon, in High Street, for the special evening last week and made £175 to donate to charity.
The top raffle prize was a new Decleor slimming treatment and a range of other treats were also won by lucky beauty buffs.
Owner Alison Freer, who recently had a baby girl, just weeks after her sister Dawn, said: "I'm doing the Cancer Research race for life in the summer and we thought what better way to raise money and launch our new treatment at the same time."
