AN Olympic cycling silver medallist dropped in on pupils at Droitwich Spa High School
Bryan Steel visited the school as part of Living for Sport, a national initiative organised by the Youth Sport Trust and BskyB.
The initiative aims to inspire and motivate young people aged between 11 and 16 through sport.
Sue Campbell, chairman of the Youth Sport Trust, said: "I would like to commend the students at Droitwich Spa High School for their success in Living For Sport. Bryan's visit to the school will give them further encouragement to participate in sport and school life more widely."
Thirty-six-year-old Steel first represented England at the Commonwealth Games in 1990. Since then he has won four World Championship silvers, a World Championship bronze, a Commonwealth Games Silver and an Olympic Bronze. Riding in his fourth Olympics in Athens, he won silver in the Team Pursuit.
