THE chairman of Worcester's newly-formed supporters' club John Phillips is backing Sixways chairman Cecil Duckworth.
"Initially it was felt we were or could be in trouble with promotion, there was a lot of spleen venting on the supporters' website, much of it directed inwardly at our own club," he said.
"However, in many discussions and our own investigations it clearly is not the case.
"The club and its administrative team have moved heaven and earth over the last 12 months to prepare the club for promotion.
"There was a lot of anger directed at Rotherham as a club but much good feeling and understanding coming from their supporters," said Phillips.
"There is now a groundswell of confidence that we will be given the green light soon. The club will ultimately gain from this whole episode."
