A DRUG addict who tried to burgle a neighbour's home has been remanded in custody.
Kevin Jones, of Gilgal, Stourport, also attacked a man trying to detain him on March 22, Worcester Crown Court heard.
Jones, 24, pleaded guilty at Worcester Crown to attempted burglary and an assault on Jonathan Pardoe with intent to resist arrest.
Defence counsel Tim Harrington said when Jones was sentenced, at a date to be fixed, it would be his first prison term.
Judge Michael Mott ordered a pre-sentence report on the defendant.
