DARTS: Bliss Gate cleaned up in the Banks's Bewdley League by winning most of the awards on offer.

They claimed the team knockout cup, the doubles trophy, the captain's cup, the man-of-the-match award and the league title at Bewdley Bowling Club.

In the first final of the evening, Gate soon ran into a 3-1 lead against Rising Sun B to give them an uphill task.

But man-of-the-match Matt Sheenan produced a 10-dart game, including a 180, to wrap up the knockout cup final in the next game.

Gate's county star Tim Green was then on the oche to beat Sun's Will Knight 2-1 in the captain's trophy.

Sheenan and Richard Winters sealed the third cup of the evening by defeating Waggon and Horse's Andy Brown and Duncan Taylor in the doubles knockout.

Both Gate players were on song after throwing well in earlier games but Taylor did well to keep them at bay early on.

In the singles final, crowd favourite Rob Jones finally gained revenge for a runners-up place back in 1979 to lift the trophy.

Determined Jones defeated Sam Crumpton 2-1 to complete a personal ambition that has been 25 years in the making.
