PEOPLE plagued by wasps in the warm weather are being urged to leave it to the experts after a woman set fire to her house trying to smoke out a nest.

The warning has been issued by the British Pest Control Association after the blaze in South Wales last month.

Closer to home, Ledbury Town Council has commissioned a survey of the town's listed Market House following fears that wood wasps have infested its 17th Century timber supports.
