THE relationship between Worcester and Rotherham looks set to be strained even further after the Warriors today swooped for another of their players.

Leon Greef has become Worcester's ninth close season signing following hot on the heels of fellow Millmoor back row forward Brad MacLeod-Henderson.

The Zimbabwean, who has been a major player for the Titans in their recent promotion campaigns, has decided to quit the relegated outfit.

Worcester's director of rugby John Brain has remained a big fan of the blindside flanker whenever he's seen him play.

"He's a really big hitter," said Brain. "I remember watching him in the first game we played against Rotherham in my time here at Worcester and he put one of the biggest hits I've seen on Sateki Tuipulotu.

"He's a big man, very physical and I think our back row will be something to watch next season. We've brought in Brad MacLeod-Henderson, Pat Sanderson and with Drew Hickey and Leon, we have some big, big players with a lot of power and skill.

"Leon is a real 100 per cent player. The sort of guy you'd be happy to go to war with. He's decided to move to Worcester and that sums up his commitment."
