MALVERN Hills District Council has promised that the recycling bins outside the Hill Centre will be removed shortly.
The council decided at a meeting two weeks ago to relocate the bins, after residents presented a petition demanding their removal. It was agreed they would be taken away immediately.
Ivor Pumfrey, head of environmental services, said: "We have a cooling off period, so we don't pounce on things straight away and the things do take some time to remove. They will be gone within the next week or so."
