DAMIEN Samways edged out Nick James to take the honours in Kidderminster Carolians' annual U-11s Superstars Competition.
Following the tournament, the end-of-season awards were presented by Worcester and England U-21s star James Percival who hails from Kidderminster.
Joint top try scorers were Sam Taylor and George Tildesley, while Craig Wassell was player-of-the-tournament in KCs' Southport tour.
Awards, players of the year: first team Nick James, second team Anthony Lock.
Most improved players: first team Jordan Pope, second team Dean Hill.
Clubmen of the year: first team Alex Homer, second team Graeme Hobbs.
