Price landed a 9-4 carp but was beaten by Boulter's 9-12 carp for the heaviest fish of the day.
The next contest will be at Boldings, Bridgnorth, on May 23. Anglers are asked to meet at the Little Chef, Bridgnorth Road, at 6.30am and guests will be welcome.
