A FEAST of chances brought the curtain down on Kidderminster Harriers' season in a positive fashion for director of football Jan Molby.

But Molby will want his side to be more clinical in front of goal next season after Saturday's 2-0 win over mid-table Boston.

"We played some reasonable stuff, especially in the first half, but the most impressive thing about the game was the number of chances we created.

"John Williams had four open goals and missed them all but in the end he got himself a good goal.

"So instead of it being 2-0, I think it could have been 6-2 because they had a couple of chances as well.

"The disappointing thing is that we haven't taken our chances. But that has been the problem all season - scoring goals."

However, Molby was again impressed by lively loan winger Simon Brown who deserved the first goal which went in off keeper Paul Bastock, even if he was not credited with it.

Brown has gone back to West Brom and been offered a deal for next season but Harriers are not ruling out a return.

Baggies manager Gary Megson admitted he intends to send the 20-year-old out on loan again and Molby will hope his destination is Aggborough.

After Saturday's press conference, the Dane then prepared for a busy few days talking over players' contracts before he flew off on holiday this week.

Boston manager Steve Evans fumed: "I think the players already had one eye on their summer holiday.

"We were completely out of the game in the first half. We didn't seem much more up for it in the second, even after I'd given them a rollicking at the interval.

"That isn't to take anything away from Kidderminster as they treated the game like a competitive match when we didn't."
