Evesham Invitation League
A MATCH against Worcester Dream Team proved a nightmare for the players representing the league in the latest Worcester Inter-League contest.
The second placed Worcester squad won 16-5 on a day when bad luck and poor form combined to leave Evesham licking their wounds.
Only Kevin Lewis and Paul Groom played to their full potential, both winning two frames apiece and only cruel luck robbing both men of a maximum.
The players have plenty of time to pick themselves up before their next match at Bromsgrove A on Sunday, June 13.
The Evesham squad comprised Lewis, Groom, Dave Wellings, Colin Mills, Paul Griffiths, Adam Griffiths, John Barker, Max Chambers, Steve Porter, Ben Kings, Dar-ren Gill and young Ben Lewis.
