BADSEY Rec are one of five Worcestershire teams entered in this year's Blackthorn British Skittles Championships.
Around 200 teams from over the south west and south Wales are expected to enter the championships that start next month with the regional rounds.
The final 16 teams in each of the three categories - men's, ladies and mixed - will be invited to the Grand Final at Sandy Bay Holiday Vill-age at Weston-super-Mare on September 25.
Interest in the event has far exceeded expectations with the £1,000 prize in each category obviously a big attraction.
