LAST Sunday's meeting of the Cotswold Youth Grasstrack Club was cancelled as a result of the miserable May weather.
"We had our usual entry of 27 riders and had the big field to race on," said chairman Phil Greenwood. "It was hard to make a decision and let the kids down but the track was unable to take on more water and we decided to call it off after an inspection on Saturday morning."
The next event is the youth national on June 27 and registrations are now available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to club secretary Nicky Greenwood at 32, Church View, Aston Magna, Gloucestershire, GL56 9QJ.
The closing date for entries is Saturday, June 12.
