MILITANT mothers in Church Hill are threatening to keep their children away from school in a protest at a shortage of classroom space on the estate.
And they have called on the support of a council education chief who visited Redditch this week to study their complaints.
Parents are angry that there are not enough places at the new Church Hill Middle School for all the estate's youngsters.
Instead, children have to go to St Stephen's School in Redditch town centre.
Parents claim that a decision to send their children to St Stephen's Middle School in Easemore Road means a long walk down dangerous roads.
