THERE was some mighty fine shooting by Greenlands clay pigeon gunners Geoff Green and Simon Jones at the recent Midland championships.
Geoff Green was overall winner of the West Midlands Area DTL Championships, held at Doveridge Clay Sports, Derbyshire, with a score of 100 out of 100.
While 14 year old Simon Jones shot down the competition in the youngster's event with a score of 94 out of 100 to become junior champion.
Both Green and Jones will be representing the Hereford and Worcester County team.
