THE romance of the desert is captured in Hidalgo (12a), showing at Malvern Cinema for a week from today (Friday). The film stars Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn in Lord of the Rings) as a Pony Express rider who travels to Saudi Arabia. Co-starring Omar Sharif, the film is showing daily at 7.30pm, except Wednesday when it is at 8.15pm, with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4pm.
