WORCESTERSHIRE Saints kick-off their new rugby league season tomorrow at a new venue and with fresh optimism.
They will take on Oxford Cavaliers in their opening totalrl.com Rugby League Conference South-West Division match at their new home, Kings Norton RFC (2.30).
After a poor campaign last year in which they won only three games, coach Jason Spafford is much more optimistic this time round and they are confident of starting off with a victory.
There has been an influx of new players from the Redditch and south Birmingham areas, although the core of the side is still Worcestershire-based.
