A DELIGHTED Alan Greatwood rang me to tell me of the great success of the opening to the public of his Orchid House, which raised a magnificent £745 for Hollybush Church restoration fund.
Visitors had the pleasure of seeing the exotic flowers in bloom and Mr Great-wood had great support from members of the Orchid Society and local people.
A cheese and wine event will be held at Heath House, Bromesberrow Heath by kind invitation of Dr and Mrs R Long on Saturday, May 22. Tickets £5, available from Bromesberrow School, Bromes-berrow Post Office, the Rectory and Bromesberrow Heath Post Office. Proceeds are in aid of St Mary's Church.
