GOLF: Amateur Phil Green and Wharton Park professional Angus Hoare will be among the Wyre Forest golfers competing in the Lombard Trophy qualifier.
Green, who won the Bewdley club's qualifying competition with a nett score of 70, will join Hoare at the regional final on Wednesday, May 19, at Sand Moor Golf Club.
They will play one round of better-ball medal play in a bid to earn a luxury five-day trip to Portugal for the finals in September.
Green is a Kidderminster man who plays off a handicap of 12, while Hoare, 36, has been at Wharton Park for 12 years.
