WEDNESDAY CLUB: Have you ever tried Cotswold Comforter, the soup with a kick? Your opportunity is very close. The club will be holding a fundraising event on May 15 at noon in the village hall - the soup (or a non-alcoholic version for the timid) will be followed by a plethora of puddings. For entertainment a bric-a-bola will be in operation, every 50p ticket is guaranteed a prize. Also on hand will be a plant stall and a traditional WI market table. All this for £2.50 a ticket.
