Councillor Susan Juned, who represents Alcester on Stratford District Council and Warwickshire County Council, expressed her concerns about road safety after the accident.
She said: "This is a well-known blackspot. The real problem is the sheer volume of traffic on the A46.
"We have to find an answer to it but I am not an expert so I don't know what that answer is."
Mrs Juned added: "We've got to ask the experts to come up with something."
