DROITWICH Spa finished their Midland Combination Division Two season with one point from two home games.
Kevin Blaber's side drew 2-2 with league runners-up Enville Athletic last Saturday and lost 4-0 to champions Wellesbourne last Wesnesday. The results leave Spa in tenth place for the season.
An entertaining draw against Enville went Spa's way first when an Enville defender handled in the box and Andy Keenahan converted the penalty. Minutes later an Andy Pheasant strike was disallowed for an infringement.
Jake Elvins doubled Spa's lead by slotting past the goalkeeper after a scramble in the box.
The Droitwich defence were put under more pressure in the second half and Enville pulled two goals back towards the end.
Spa's fourth meeting of the season with Wellesbourne ended in a comprehensive defeat. The hosts failed to make first half chances tell and conceded on the break.
Keenahan put a second half penalty wide and from then on the league leaders split the Spa defence with ease.
