JOE Jackson has fought off competition from ex-Kidderminster Harriers manager Ian Britton to take the hot seat at Bromsgrove Rovers.
The former Worcester City midfielder, who led Stourbridge to back-to-back Midland Alliance titles, becomes the seventh manager in four years at the Victoria Ground.
Rovers chairman Tom Herbert believes he is the right man for the job. "He's won the title twice with Stourbridge and the players respect him."
